Super producer and Black Eye Peas front-man, Will.i.am has apologised to DJ lag for not crediting him on ‘Plagiarised’ song.

Earlier on, we reported that American DJ Megan Ryte has been under flames for allegedly stealing DJ Lag’s song.

Megan’s song, ‘Culture’ sounds heavily like Dj Lag’s 2016 song, ‘Ice Drop’.

Will.i.am has today come out to apologise to both Megan and Lag, and takes all the blame.

“I want everyone to know that Megan doesn’t deserve the hate that you are throwing at her,” he says in the Instagram video.

“Megan didn’t do anything wrong,” he continued.

“The person that’s at fault is myself.”

According to Will, he was the person who submitted the credit details, which didn’t have DJ Lag included.

“I obviously got the credit information wrong, when I realised I had made a mistake, I tried to fix it.”

This apology comes just hours after social media attacked Megan and disliked and reported the music video on YouTube.

“I apologise to DJ Lag,”

“DJ you are an awesome producer, you have an amazing future ahead of you and I am so sorry for getting the information wrong.”

Megan Ryte hasn’t broken her silence on the matter as yet.

DJ has been sharing Instagram stories of people reacting to the apology, but hasn’t said anything yet.
