Levitating Remix: A dream Collaboration, A Terrible song

A few months ago, Dua Lipa dropped on the most solid albums of the year with ‘Future Nostalgia’.

The song boasted singles such as ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Physical’ and ‘Break My Heart’ which all had chart success.

The artist announced that she will be collaborating with Madonna & Missy Elliot for the remix of Levitating.

“Levitating remixed by the blessed Madonna featuring my idols Madonna and Missy Elliot.”

“Dream come true lets go!!!!” said the artist announcing the feature.

Many had expected Levitating to be the follow up single of Break My Heart, instead she released ‘Hallucinate’.

Fast forward to August 13 2020, the song that everyone was ready for gets released.

Guess what?

It sounds like a technical error that happened in the 1980s.

Basically, this is a dream collaboration, but a terribly executed song!

It sounds completely different, which isn’t always a bad idea, but this is not it.

Soon after the release of the song many went to social media to voice out their disappointments.

The ‘Don’t Start Now’ singer announced that “all Future Nostalgia tracks and some remixed by ur faves and many more surprises!!!”

She was talking about the club remix of ‘Future Nostalgia’, which is out on August 21st.

Gwen Stefani and Mark Ronson will also make an appearance on the club remix.

If it sounds anything like the remix of Levitating, then Dua should go back to the drawing board.
