All You Need To Know About Ed Sheeran’s Child

British Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has announced that he is now a father.

The ‘Shape of You’ singer took to his Instagram for the first time in 9 months to make the announcement.

“Last week with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our daughter,” Wrote Ed alongside a picture of a blanket and baby socks.

“Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here.”

The name of the baby is Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.

News of the Sheeran’s expecting a child aren’t new as rumours were already making rounds.

In December 2019, Ed announced to be taking a break from music, again, which was just nine months ago.

Could this be his return to both music and social media? I don’t think so, especially since he is a father.

Iggy Azalea also had a private pregnancy and announced the birth of her baby recently.

Ed’s child was born in the same week as Katy Perry’s child.
