Apple Music Announces Two New Radio Stations With More Artists As Hosts

Apple Music has launched two live radio stations, Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country.

Apple Beats 1 will now be re-branded, Apple Music 1.

“Discover live radio. Hosted by artists.”

“With all-new stations and dozens of exclusive shows created by the most iconic names in music.”

Popular Zane Lowe will continue being part of staple of presenters.

“Apple Music 1 is lead by cornerstone presenters Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden, Brooke Reese, Dotty,”

Dotty recently left BBC Radio 1 Xtra in July and will be starting at Apple Music Radio 1 in London from September.

“I am over the moon to be taking the role of Lead Cultural Curator for Apple Music and host on Beats 1!” said the presenter.

The New Stations

Apple Music Hits will feature the biggest hits from the 80s to the 2000s.

The other newcomer, Apple Music Country will offer “a mix of the best music of today,”

Country Rap artist BRELAND also landed a weekly show on the station and went to social media to share his excitement.

“Each week I’ll be having conversations with different artists and creatives that are helping to push country music forward,” said the ‘My Truck’ singer.

“I am so excited for y’all to get to know me in this new light.” He said on his Instagram page.

Other noticeable artists part of the Apple Music Radio includes Ciara, Lady Gaga and Cuppy representing Africa.
