Rocking the Daisies 2022 line-up

Rocking the Daisies 2022 Line-up is shaping up and some big names will be part of this three-day event.

There is less than two and a half months to go before Rocking the Daisies returns for the first time since 2019.

We previously announced that Clean Bandit and Kehlani will be part of the rocking the daisies 2022 line-up.

They will both be performing in Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Alcoholic brand, Johnny Walker was announced as the title Sponsor for this year’s event.

“Please welcome our BFF Johnnie Walker – the official title sponsor of Rocking the Daisies 2022 and long-time good-timer,” announced the Daisies.

This partnership with Johnny Walker was explained to be “so seamless” due to shared commitment to being part of multi-sensory experiences.

Rocking The Daisies Phase 3 Tickets

Tickets for the Rocking the Daisies festival went on sale in May, which resulted in hundreds going to by their tickets.

Phase one and two of Rocking the daisies 2022 tickets in Cape Town were sold out within moments of them going live.

The third and final phase of tickets for Cape Town and phase two for Joburg will be released on July 29^th at 10am.

Music lovers who haven’t yet bought their tickets will be forking up to R1,195 to be part of the event.

Joburg tickets went on sale for as low as R695, which is expected since it will only be taking place for one day.

Rocking the Daisies dates are the 7^th to the 9^th of October 2022.

The event takes place in Cape Town over a 3-day period, and in Johannesburg on Sunday October 9, 2022.

However, the best part is the start studded line-up across three stages.

The Daisies 2022 Stages

Recently, three stages have been announced for this year’s event with each stage offering great music and vibes.

The Johnny Walker Jungle stage was the first stage to be announced, which will also be the main stage.

It will be in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.

“The stage also boasts comprehensive features that will engage festivalgoers through exciting interactive touchpoints throughout.”

Heineken House Stage will be a “cross-continental partnership that will display artistic and cultural exchange in its highest form.”

This stage will also feature the likes of Dreamville artist Bas-lead collective The Fiends, and other major SA stars.

“#JWxRTD officially introduces the Heineken House stage, brought to you by the festival’s official beer partner Heineken.”

It is no doubt that Savanna is the most popular cider in South Africa, that’s why Rocking the Daisies has the Savanna Beach Club Stage.

The stage is curated by We House Sundays and “will feature a selection of incredible local talent over the 7 – 9 October weekend in Cape Town.”

It seems like this stage will not be in Johannesburg.

Rocking the Daisies 2022 Line-up

This year’s event will have over 70 artists performing in both Joburg and Cape Town over the Rocking the Daisies weekend.

Here is a list of some announced artists who will be part of the Rocking the Daisies 2022 line-up and their songs:

Is a South African rapper who is known for his smash hit, Pheli Makaveli.

A-Reece

A very popular South African artist, rapper, songwriter and record producer who rose to fame 7 years ago with songs like Couldn’t featuring Emtee.

Aymos

He needs no introduction when it comes to vocals on Amapiano tracks such as Dj Maphorisa and Kabza De Small’s ‘Bambelela.’

Bas

This Grammy nominated American rapper is signed to J Cole’s Dreamville, who will be on the Hieneken Stage.

Night Job and Lit are some of his popular songs.

Blxckie

‘Ye,Ye,Ye,Ye’, he needs no introduction after that.

Buddy 

He is also one of the American rappers who are set get the fans going and has worked with the likes if Guapdad 4000.

Clean Bandit

Grammy Award winning Clean Bandit were the first to be announced to be part of the Rocking the Daisies 2022 line-up, with big songs such as ‘TikTok.’

Cozz

Another Dreamville artist, with hits such as ‘Coddy Macc.’

Culo the song

An absolute legend, with hits such as fan ‘Webaba’.

DBN GOGO

She is going to set the Rocking the Daisies stage with her incredible Amapiano performances, she is known for her infectious ‘Khuza Gogo’ song.

Emotional Oranges

They are an American R&B group, who have a song called ‘Personal’

Fivio Foreign

If you know the 2019 song ‘Big Drip’, you know who this American Rapper is.

Focalistic

This artist right here is one of the people leading the Amapiano pack, with the best performances and his infection tunes like ‘Ke Star’.

Guapdad 4000

Dreamville is not playing as it also brings this American rapper who was on big tunes such as ‘Costa Rica’.

IAMDDB

UK based Angolan artist IAMDDB takes on Rocking the Daisies 2022, hoping they perform their popular song ‘Shade’.

Kehlani

Grammy nominated artist, Kehlani is one of the headliners for this year’s event and she sure should perform ‘Nights Like This’.

Kid Fonque

Besides his 5FM show trending on Twitter each week, this South African DJ is huge in the music scene.

You can call him a taste maker of note, with incredible mixes and songs.

Lute

Part of Dreamville, with the likes of Bas and Cozz. This American rapper will be showcasing the best of what they can offer.

Marcus Harvey

This multi-talented South African musical artist is one that you don’t want to miss.

Matthew Mole

He is no stranger to the Daisies; this SAMA award winner is a definite crowd pleaser.

His song ‘Take yours, I’ll take mine’ is a perfect song to sing along to with thousands of other music fans.

Moonga K

You should be prepared to be serenaded by this incredible artist when they take the stage.

The music video to their song ‘who’s it gonna be?” with PHFAT, won multiple awards.

Nasty C

His success is one of the most incredible stories, signed to Def Jam, Nasty C has many hits that everyone will be excited to hear.

‘Juice Back’ is one of those songs that many fans still go crazy to, many years later.

Nitrane

Coming to South Africa with the guys from Dreamville, this DJ will be bringing all the energy.

Priddy Ugly

The Heineken stage will be set on fire when Priddy Ugly hops on as part Rocking the Daisies 2022 line-up.

He is sure to get everyone ‘In the mood’ with his performance.

Rowlene

She is one of South Africa’s Most sort after singer and songwriter, with songs such as SMA with Nasty C.

Saba

He is an American rapper, mostly known for his 2018 hit ‘LIFE’.

SIO

This award winning South African artist will be singing some of her best songs following her album release earlier this year.

Sun El-Musician – He is one of South Africa’s biggest DJ and Producer, who his song Akanamali is still hot four years later.

TXC

Amapiano will be sounding so good when Tarryn x Clair take on the stage this year with all the vibes they bring.
